Fee

You can either pay with a card during our first session, or ask me for my bank details and pay electronically.

Where we’ll meet

My practice is based in Central Edinburgh in just 2 minutes walk from Haymarket Station. The address is Reception Business Centre, 21 Lansdowne Crescent, Edinburgh, EH12 5EH.

Diagonally from the building is St Mary’s Music School. And the building looks like this:

There should be someone on reception when you arrive. The door is locked until the receptionist lets you in. You can either buzz the bell, which you can see on the photo on the right, or you can knock on the door. The door will be then released, and there’s a bit of a knack to get through and you have to pull the door towards you and then push.

 

You are welcome to wait in reception. Please let the receptionist know you are here to see me and I will come and collect you at our appointment time. I am on the first floor of the building – if this will cause you any problems please let me know before our first appointment.

General Information

Finding a therapist that is a good fit for you is a very personal decision. I really want you to find someone that is the right person for you. If it’s me then great, we’ll set up a number of appointments during this initial session; if not then I will try to point you in the right direction, with absolutely no hard feelings: I want you to get the right support for you.

With that in mind during our first session I’ll share a bit about how I work, and you’ll get to share what you’d like from therapy and some of what has been happening for you. During this time we’ll both get a feel for what it would be like for us to work together.
