It can be difficult for those who have experienced abuse to share any overwhelming feelings and any painful memories with others. They may keep these experiences and feelings hidden, making life difficult to live and experience intense feelings of worthlessness, anger and shame.
Counselling can provide a confidential and safe space to talk through experiences and feelings in the here and now.
As a therapist I will provide a supportive place to help you to deal with overwhelming feelings and be with you when experiencing painful memories. I offer my support and can remain alongside you through every step of your journey to live your life more freely from the affects of abuse. Therapy will take place at your pace and what and when you choose to share will be warmly accepted as your decision to take.
